The new system of requesting pool and loan players is by using the Whats App groups.
There are 4 set up and functioning now:
Div 3 ladies pool group
Div 3 men pool group
Div 3 loan ladies group.
Div 3 loan men’s group.
There were no volunteers for the Div 3 loan men’s group as yet
All secretaries are on each of the Whats App groups so they can access the groups to make requests and also see if their players are volunteering to play when they may be required by their home team.
The home club always takes preference over a club requesting a player.
To remind you of the process (as in the League Handbook):
Stage 1- Request a player from the clubs lower teams or reserves if available to play.
Stage 2- Request a pool players from the Division 3 Whats App group.
Stage 3-Request a loan player from the Division 3 Whats App group.
Players are chosen on a first come basis.
All Whats Apps are time stamped so all can see the communication trail.
Additional players maybe added to the Whats App groups as more players volunteer.
Any issues with this new system please contact the League Secretary as we going to review it towards Christmas time.
