It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David McGonnigal on Sunday 29th December 2024.
David was a long-standing member of Ingleton Badminton Club and Lancaster, Morecambe & District Badminton League.
David played a key role in the Committee, managing the League website, running the Cup competitions and also restarted the Lancaster and Westmorland Junior League for their tournament days, to name just a few.
His contributions and spirit will be deeply missed by so many.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his friends and family during this difficult time.
The funeral for David will be held at Ingleborough Community Centre in Ingleton on Monday 13th January 2025 at 11am, followed by interment at Ingleton Cemetery.
Family flowers only please, and donations if desired are to be shared between Cancer Research UK & Motor Neurone Disease, which may be left at the service or sent directly to:
